77" TV Remedial Mount in Chelmsford
A previous installer had mounted a 77-inch TV directly onto a plasterboard wall with no structural reinforcement — a serious safety issue. We were called in to fix it properly.
Structural Reinforcement
The plasterboard was cut out to expose the wall cavity. Timber noggins were fitted between the studs to provide solid anchoring points for the bracket. The wall was then re-plastered to a smooth finish before the TV was remounted.
Professional Finish
The TV now sits paper-thin against the wall on a proper bracket with full load-bearing support. A Sonos Arc soundbar was wall-mounted below. All cables were chased into the reinforced wall — a proper job that will last.
