We keep things simple. This site exists to tell you about our services and let you get in touch. Here's exactly what happens with your data when you use our website.
What We Collect
We collect information in two ways:
- Information you provide: Name, email address, phone number, town, and enquiry details submitted through the contact form. All fields apart from name are optional.
- Information collected automatically: When you visit our site, third-party services we use (listed below) may collect anonymous data about your visit, such as pages viewed, time on site, device type, and approximate location. This data is used to measure advertising effectiveness and improve our website.
We do not create user accounts.
How We Use This Information
Any information submitted through the contact form is used solely to respond to the enquiry. Roger Brittain receives each message by email and will reply directly. We will not add anyone to a mailing list or share details with third parties.
Automatically collected data is used to understand how visitors find and use our website, and to measure the effectiveness of our advertising.
Contact Form & Web3Forms
The contact form is processed by Web3Forms, a third-party form service. When the form is submitted, the data is sent to Web3Forms' servers where it is forwarded to us by email. On their free plan, Web3Forms retains submission data for up to 30 days, after which it is deleted. Their privacy policy is available on their website.
Click Tracking
When a visitor taps the phone or WhatsApp buttons on our site, a small anonymous request is sent to Web3Forms recording only the page and which button was clicked. No personal information is included in these requests — they simply help us understand which pages lead to enquiries.
Third-Party Services
Google Ads & Google Tag (gtag.js)
We use Google Ads to advertise our services and Google's global site tag (gtag.js) to measure advertising performance. When you visit our site, Google may collect anonymous data including pages visited, time on site, and device information. If you arrived via a Google ad, conversion tracking records that the ad led to a visit or enquiry — this helps us understand which ads are working. Google may set cookies for this purpose. You can opt out of personalised advertising at Google Ad Settings.
Microsoft Clarity
We use Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors interact with our website. Clarity records anonymous session data such as mouse movements, clicks, and scrolling behaviour. It does not capture personal information, form input, or passwords. Clarity may set cookies to distinguish unique visitors. You can learn more in Microsoft's Privacy Statement.
Cloudflare
This site is served through Cloudflare's network for performance and security. Cloudflare may process standard server logs (IP addresses, page requests) and set technical security cookies in accordance with their own privacy policy.
Cookies
This website uses cookies set by the following third-party services:
- Google Ads (gtag.js): Used to measure advertising effectiveness and track conversions. These cookies help us understand which ads lead to enquiries.
- Microsoft Clarity: Used to record anonymous browsing behaviour to help us improve the site experience.
- Cloudflare: May set a technical security cookie to protect the site from malicious traffic.
We do not set any first-party cookies ourselves. You can manage or block cookies through your browser settings. Blocking cookies will not affect your ability to browse the site or submit an enquiry.
Data Retention
Contact form submissions are retained by Web3Forms for up to 30 days. The emails we receive from form submissions are kept only as long as needed to deal with the enquiry. We do not maintain a customer database from website enquiries. Data collected by Google and Microsoft is retained in accordance with their respective privacy policies.
Rights Under GDPR
Under UK data protection law, individuals have the right to:
- Ask what personal data we hold
- Request correction of any inaccurate data
- Request deletion of personal data
- Object to how data is processed
In practice, we hold very little data — just any emails from form submissions. If deletion is needed, just ask.
