How CCTV Installation Works
1. Free Site Survey
Roger visits your property to walk the perimeter with you, identify the areas you want covered, and discuss camera positions. This is also when we work out the cable routes and decide on the best location for the recorder — usually inside a cupboard, garage or dedicated equipment cabinet.
2. Installation
Cameras are fixed to walls, soffits or poles using heavy-duty brackets. Cables are run as neatly as possible — clipped along fascias, through roof spaces, or chased into walls where appearance matters. The recorder is installed and connected, and all cameras are tested for picture quality and night vision range before we move on.
3. Setup and Handover
We configure motion detection zones, set the recording schedule, and get the remote viewing app working on your phone. We show you how to check live footage, review recordings, and what to do if a camera goes offline. Most CCTV installations are completed within a day.
